The Thai on Wheels truck is parked at Bushnell Park daily during lunch time in the summer, and it’s by far my favorite food truck at the Bushnell food truck court. The meals are inexpensive, delicious, and decent-sized, with a good selection. They offer noodles, curries, and rice, with meat and vegetarian options. The prices are very reasonable and the location is convenient for anyone who works in Downtown Hartford.
I have heard reports that the service can get slow during peak lunch time, so if you’re in a rush, order before noon or after one; however, it’s definitely worth the wait if you are able to wait it out. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. Beware if you don’t like spicy food, however – just like traditional Thai, this truck’s food can be spicy.
